Conference debate organized by Master 2 FOGEM students

The discovery centre of marine fisheries Maréis will receive Master 2 « Fonctionnement et Gestion des Ecosystèmes Marins » (FOGEM) students for the fourth edition of conferences debates on the theme of coasts of the English Channel that will take place on Saturday 1st December 2012.

On this occasion, four topics will be discussed:

  • Vulnerability of coastal and marine ecosystems to the climate change in the English Channel,
  • Integrated Management and development of estuaries in easterns English Channel,
  • Association between fishing and aquaculture,
  • The Strait classification to the UNESCO World Heritage list.

This conferences are open to the public.

Beginning of the conference:

14:30 : Vulnerability of coastal and marine ecosystems to the climate change in the English Channel (presented by Clémentine Donie and Alexandre Leoville),

15:00 : Integrated Management and development of estuaries in easterns English Channel (presented by Clémentine Brevart, Virginie Leyendecker and Caroline Normand),

15:30 : Association between fishing and aquaculture (presented by Floriant Bruaut, Justine Delettre and Jennifer Schoenn),

16:00 : The Strait classification to the UNESCO World Heritage list (presented by Marion Dumont and Elodie Guilbert
